Texture Compression errors

Explanation

Failed texture compression can relate to either the ImageMagick tool we use for adjusting/compressing textures, or with one of the compression formats we support in Luna.

Steps to fix

A main cause for a texture compression issue could be that the image is an unsupported format (JPG and PNG are guaranteed to work provided the file isn't corrupt in some way). There are other formats that are supported by ImageMagick and our other compression formats, however these two are definitely safe.

You can also manually compress any problematic textures prior to building in order to avoid the process failing.

If the previous step doesn't fix your issue, please have a read of our Common Issue page on Textures for further troubleshooting steps.
