Within a video set you will configure your captures, video settings and gameplay variables. You can also create screenshots and do some basic editing on the selected capture.

Capture

Once you have created a capture in the Unity Editor or on a device, you will be able to select this capture from the drop down list.

System Language

Many games us Unity's SystemLanguage to handle languages in their games. If your game uses system languages, you may select the output languages for the video recording and this will be handled automatically during the Replay.

If you do not use System Language, then you may use a LunaPlayground field and adjust the text manually.

Video Settings

Luna Replay provides a number of controls and settings for your Videos. You may create multiple groupings in a video which will result in variations of you videos with these settings applied.

If you are unsure what settings to use, we suggest you use one of the presets available.

For full details about the settings available, please review the Video Settings documentation.

Game Variables

By using the LunaPlaygroundField attribute, you are able to create multiple video variations by changing any of these visual elements.

Combinations

When you select multiple values for multiple variables, you will create a set of videos which combines each unique possibility.

For example:

Background Colour: Black, White

Text Colour: Red, Blue

Combinations: Black & Red, Black & Blue, White & Red, White & Blue (4 videos)

Linked Variables

There may be situation where you want to define a select group of combinations, and not have unwanted overlaps.

In this case, you may add these variables into a new Playground Group, and enable Linking. In doing this, every variation will be explicitly linked to a single variation of the other variables in the group.

For Example.

Background Colour:

  1. Black
  2. White

Text Colour:

  1. White
  2. Black

Combinations: Black & White, White & Black (2 videos)
