Choose to Result

The Choose to Result template is a JPEG/APNG based template, which requires no video for its background. It offers two items which you the user can tap, and reveal an unique result.

When to use it?

This template can be used for almost any length of experience to create both playable ads and interactive end cards (IECs). It’s a great template if you want to create an experience where the user has to make a choice to see a result, like a fail vs win mechanic.

Video or image will be used throughout the playable experience. Videos or images are uploaded and stored in the Media Library.

As a single video or image needs to support multiple resolutions, the anchor control can be used to define how your video scales. For example, if your video has some important gameplay elements at the top of the screen, you may which to choose the Top Middle.
Video Fit/Fill (default & landscape)Fit: The video will maintain its aspect ratio and scale to fit in 100% of the smallest dimension (width or height) depending on the resolution.
Fill: The video will maintain its aspect ratio and scale to fit in 100% of both the width and height of any resolution.
The image fit/fill control is a range from 0-1. You can change your value between 0 and 1 to find the best fit for your game. We recommend using this feature in conjunction with the video anchor settings.

Filter StrengthSlider (Which changes a float value)Adjust the intensity of the selected filter on a scale from 0 (no effect) to 1 (maximum effect).

Option

Size (Default and Landscape)Float value (Number value that allows decimals, negative values will default the value used back to 15)This determines the size of the button, the higher the value the larger the image will be. The scale is done in rem, so 1 will roughly equal 5% of the viewport's size.
Button Offset (Default and Landscape)Slider (Which changes a float value)Moves the result along the x and y axis (horizontally and vertically).
Interaction SoundAudio file (.mp3, .wav etc.)The audio that plays when the user taps on this choice. If this field is not set up, the interaction sound from the Sound section will be used. Audio files are uploaded and stored in the Media Library.
